Now that you purchased your Pass, you may have some questions about Reservations and how to make them.
First of all, we always recommend using a laptop to purchase a Reservation, keep in mind that it is not possible to book them on the Rail Planner App, if you start on the app, the system by itself will take you to our website using your default browser.
The process can be broken into a few steps:
1. Go to our website and click on “Seat Reservations”
2. Login using your Interrail or Eurail account.
3. Select the trip that you are going to use or create one. Do not forget to add all the travellers on the same trip in order to travel together.
4. Once you have done that, you should be able to start making your reservations. Choose your desired arrival and departure stations, time and dates and add those trips to your Cart.
5. Click on “View Cart,” and you will find all the trips that you added to it. Double-check that all the details match. Then click on Checkout to start the booking process.
6. Now you are almost done. The following screens will appear, in those you need to fill are the required information (name, last name, address, telephone number, etc). If a paper ticket is required and you are going to send it to your hotel, please first contact the hotel staff to ask for their approval and if they are going to be able to receive the package under your name. If they confirm, instead of your name, you have to set the hotel, accommodation, Airbnb, etc.
7. Click on “Continue to traveller details”. Please verify that all your personal details are correct and match your passport/ID.
8. Now select a payment method and that’s it! You got your reservation tickets!
After the payment, you should receive the confirmation email in at least 30 minutes. So please don’t get worried if you haven’t received the tickets just after the purchase. It takes a while for the system to book the reservations, assign the seats, and retrieve the tickets and send them to your e-mail.
If you haven’t received your ticket after one hour, please DO NOT PLACE ANOTHER ORDER, but first of all log into your account and check if your reservations and tickets appear in the Reservations overview section. If nothing can be found there, please contact us and we will help from there.
In case you are not sure about the dates of your desired trip, if you added a train to the cart for a certain time and then you change it to a different one, please DELETE THE OLD ONE and make sure that you are selecting the right date and time. If you notice a mismatch before processing the purchase of the reservation, please contact us.
It is important to plan your trip well in advance, just to avoid inconveniences as some trains might get fully booked fast, like Eurostar. So please keep that in mind.
