We have recently introduced a new security feature when redeeming your Pass in the Rail Planner app. After you have filled in the traveller’s last name and Pass number in the App, we now send a 6-digit verification code via email to verify your identity. This verification code will be sent to the same email address used to purchase the Pass.
If you purchased multiple Passes for your travel companions in the same order, you will get a new verification code whenever each of your travel companions redeem their Pass to the App. Please share the verification code for each Pass with each respective traveller so they can add the Pass to their mobile device. We recommend redeeming the Passes one by one so that it's clear which verification code belongs to which Pass.
Additionally, the verification code will be valid for two hours. If you’re unable to enter the code in the app within that timeframe, tap “Resend” to get a new code. The code will be re-sent to the email address used to purchase the Pass.
