The below gives an overview of countries that use ticket inspection devices that can read our Barcodes. There is also a number of countries that inspect the ticket using so-called Visual Validation by checking the readable content on the ticket.
Ticket inspectors are currently able to scan the barcode in these countries:
Austria, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia, Switzerland, The Netherlands, Turkey.
In countries not mentioned above, ticket inspectors will check your ticket visually.
